Abstract

In order to explicitly specify the force characteristics of tied arch bridge,we selected two parameters such as rise-span ratio of arch axis,beam-arch stiffness ratio to investigate its impact law upon structural mechanical properties. The analysis shows that when the beam-arch stiffness ratio varied between 30 to 85,the rate of decreases is relatively large when internal force value of the arch rib increases with the beam stiffness;when beam-arch stiffness ratio varies between 90~105,the rate of decreases is relatively flat when internal force value of the arch rib increases with the beam stiffness. For the arc-shaped rib, when the beam-arch stiffness ratio becomes comparatively small, this value between 0.24~0.29 is more reasonable.
