Abstract

Objective To explore the impact of deciduous periapical lesions and different treatment methods on the eruption of permanent teeth. Methods Seventy five patients with deciduous teeth periapical lesions were divided into group A(natural eruption group) with 24 cases, group B(Zinc Oxide,Iodoform Paste) with 22 cases and group C(Vitapex Paste) with 29 cases, the effects of three groups were evaluated 1 year after treatment. Results There were significant differences when the eruption height of deciduous teeth periapical lesions compared with that of health side teeth(P 0.05).There was no significant difference when eruption height and time of primary molar with different deciduous molar root canal filling material compeered with that of inherited permanent teeth(P 0.05).Conclusion Primary molars periapical lesions has a slow trend to inherit permanent teeth;different materials in root canal filling have similar timing and direction of eruption of permanent teeth.
