Abstract

Learning motivation is the significant factors that stimulate students to learn English.By analyzing the research literature related to students' motivation of learning English,this paper expounds in detail the status quo,achievements and inadequacy of the researches in this field in terms of research content,object of study and research methods.It also looks to the future studies and points out future research directions that may be extended.
