Abstract
The raw fluorite ore in Menyuan Qinghai contains 47.51%CaF2,37.35%SiO2 and 5%~6%CaCO3.At present, the concentrator can obtain the fluorite concentrate containing 95%,which doesn′t reach the national Grade-3 standards. This low-grade of the fluorite concentrate is mainly caused by the over standard of CaCO3.On account of this situation, through several exploring experiments, the fluorite and calcite were effectively separated by combining the high-efficiency inhabitorT-29 and water glass as inhibitor and optimizing the flowsheet. At last, the fluorite concentrate of 98.19%CaF2 with the recovery of 88.31% was obtained, which reaches the national grade-one standard for acid-making fluorite.
