Significance of Modern Multilayer Narration

Abstract

There are two different Is in the fiction KongYiJi by Lu Xun.They narrate the story from the multilayer view:one is KongYiJi's story,the other is narrator's story,which reflects the story's rich and deep connotation.The story symblizes a philosophical meaning and expresses respect for life and self-examination.This kind of modern narration represents the exploration of the mode of narration by writers in the period of May Fourth.
