Abstract

Objective:To understand the water quality of rural centralized water supply, and provide scientific basis for government departments to formulate measures. Methods:According to the Standard test method for drinking water, water samples from rural centralized water supply in wet season and dry season were detected and analyzed from 2008 to 2012.Results:Eight hundred and eight water samples were collected from 75 centralized water supply plants, the qualified rate was 16.71%.The pass rates of water in dry season and wet season were18.07% and 15.35%,respectively.While the qualified rates of treated water and peripheral water were 21.04% and 12.38% respectively.Groundwater accounted for 9.33%,and surface water accounted for 90.67%.Complete processing accounted for 13.33%,only precipitation or filtration accounted for 86.67%.Conclusion:Poor water quality and serious microbial contamination were found in centralized water supply of Longchuan county,so comprehensive measures should be taken to strengthen the hygiene supervision and regular disinfection, preventing the outbreak of water-borne communicable diseases.
