The Rise of Wang Yangming`s Philosophy and the Evolution of the Antiquarian Literature

In the mid-Ming Dynasty,Wang Yangming`s philosophy sprang up in taking the advantage of the decline of the Neo-Confucianism,and immediately had a great impact on the ideological and cultural fields at that time.The antiquarian trend of literature,which once dominated the literary circles in the dynasty changed due to Wang Yangming`s ideas.Xu Zhenqing,Zheng Shanfu and Tu Long were the representatives.Mainly touched by Wang Yangming`s personality,Xu Zengqing became interested in Wang's philosophy,but his literary ideas remained unchanged.Zheng Shanfu not only accepted Wang`s thoughts but also practiced them in his literary activities.Tu Long even joined in the innovative ranks inspired by Wang Yangming`s ideas.The experience of the three writers thoroughly demonstrated the situation of literary evolution after Wang Yangming`s philosophy came in being.
