Abstract
Isopropyl chloroacetate was catalytically synthesized through solid super acid SO 2- 4/TiO 2 Al 2O 3. The factors on the reaction was discussed, the optimal reaction conditions were as follows; concentration of H 2SO 4 1 mol/L; calcination temperature 400 °C ; optimum ratio of Ti/Al, 2∶1; acid/alcohol, 1∶3(mol ratio); reaction time, 4 h; catalyst, 3.4% of acid; yield, 81.8%.
