Study on spatial developmental strategy of the city agglomeration in the middle of Jilin Province

The city agglomeration in the middle of Jilin Province(middle Jilin) is the nuclear area of the province.Its spatial structure is undergoing a change from centralizing period with single core to dispersing stage with multiple ones.Based on the actual situation of the country,Northeast China,and the province,this paper put forward unbalanced strategy for the development of the area under the instruction of scientific point of view of development.The strategy is as follows.Let the dual-control of market government lead the gathering and dispersion of population and social economy.Expand southward,unite northward,advance westward and exploit eastward to reinforce the competition and cooperation with neighboring areas and districts of Northeast Asia.Realize substantive association between Changchun city and Jilin city to enhance the competition of the center of this area and consequently drive the development of the city agglomeration.Adopt the policy of enlarging cities and en-power counties to form sub-level centers and raise total economic amount and drive overall development of the area.Gather the axis and belt to connect the key cities and industries within the area,promote mutual complementation of productive and living service functions among cities and then improve the overall construction level of the city agglomeration.
