Abstract
Considering the problems existed in the traction power supply system of electrified railway, such as abundant negative sequence, harmonics and reactive power, and the lost of traction speed and power which are restricted by the neutral section insulator between adjacent power supply sections,a new type of power supply system is built by integrated power flow controller based on power electronic technology. The principle of co-phase traction power supply system is discussed, the corresponding control strategies, simulation and on-site test results are given. The test results show that the proposed main circuit structure of co-phase power supply device and control strategy are effective.
