Abstract
Objective: To study the relation between red cell immune function and circulating immune complex of patients with nephropathy. Methods: 112 patients with renal disease and 40 normal cases were detected by tests of RBC immune method complex rosette and RBC-C3b receptor rosette and circulating immune complex were measured by immune method. Results: The rate of RBC-C3b receptor rosette formation(RBC-C3b RR %) in chronic nephritis group, nephritic syndrome group and other nephropathy were significant lower than that of control group (P0.01), and the rates of RBC immune complex rosette formation (RBC-ICR,%) in three groups were obviously higher than that of control group (P0.01), the CIC level in nephritic syndrome group was significantly higher than that in other groups. Conclusion: There are changes of red cell immune function and circulating immune complex of patient of nephropathy, and this may play an important role in the development of kidney disease.
