Abstract
Taking species, density and land preparation methods as its experimental factors, investigate influences on survival rate and seedling growth of Robinia pseudoacacia based on different combinations of various factors by applying to orthogonal experimental designing method. The results showed that different species, planting densities and different land preparation methods make significant effects on seedling quality index and survival rate of Robinia pseudoacacia. To improve the survival rate of Robinia pseudoacacia, the first choice should be common Robinia pseudoacacia whose planting density was 1.5 m×1.0 m,with an overall land preparation method and the second one was cave-like soil preparation then expanding the cave after cultivation who shares the same density. The paper finds out that the three soil preparation methods have no obvious difference in forestation costs per area, and among them the mechanized farming method cost the least, while the cave-like soil preparation method cost most.
