Application of OPC technology in the monitoring and control system

The generation of OPC technology,technology specification of OPC standard and the benefit of using OPC standard design system are briefly introduced in this paper.The main application fields at home and abroad is summarized.Main function in the application of the OPC technology is analyzed.The repetitive work is reduced in the process of integrating system.OPC represents the developing direction of the communication standard in process control systems.Therefore,the OPC technology has the application foreground in the industry automatic control system.Meanwhile,this technology will be applied to more fields.
