Abstract

Jin Zerong applied for Chinese nationality in 1912 in his exile in China.Then he was in a plight of having no nationality due to Korea's being destroyed.Republic of China was established in 1912 and that activated his memory of being a descendant of Ji Zi.Furthermore his friendship with Zhang Jian drew him closer to China.Jin Zerong made his decision in unusual circumstances,which witnessed Sino-Korean friendship of long standing and also the unique way of a Korean literator to express his patriotism.
