Clinical Observation of Massage for Infantile Diarrhea

Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of massage in the treatment of infantile diarrhea.Methods Sixty-one children with diarrhea were divided into treatment group in which 35 cases were treated by massage and control group in which 26 cases were treated by conventional western medicines,with a course of 6 days.Results The total effective rate was 94.3% in treatment group and 53.9% in control group,with a significant difference between the two groups(P0.01).Conclusion Massage therapy is effective for infantile diarrhea.
