Abstract
The present study was aimed at investigating Wenzhou citizens' subjective well-being and their coping style by using the Chinese Citizens' Subjective Well-being Scale(SR)and the Coping Style Scale.425 Wenzhou citizens participated in this study.The results showed as follows:(1)the level of the citizens' subjective well-being is medium or slightly higher than medium in general.(2)The citizens' subjective well-being is affected by 5 factors,namely,age,educational qualification,health,marriage quality and family income.(3)Some suitable coping styles such as problem-solving and help-seeking have positive influence on their subjective well-being,whereas some unsuitable coping styles such as self-blame,fantasy,retreat and rationalization have negative influence on their subjective well-being.
