Abstract

Today,both IPSec technology and network address translator(NAT) technology are widely used in the Internet.However,the incompatibility between NAT and IP security has become a major barrier to their application.The basic theory of NAT and IPSec protocol is introduced at this paper,then the incompatibility between them is analysed in detail,and the solution in which ESP packet is encapsulated by UDP is introduced in detail.
