Abstract

Qi is an ontology category of Chinese philosophy and a core category of the philosophy of ZHUANG Zi.. There are three kinds of significance in the Qi of ZHUANG Zi. ZHUANG Zi beleived that the most ideal state of life was that reached the state which identified the sky and people by the listen by Qi, and this is also the state of Zhenren, shenren and Zhiren. The Qi philosophy of ZHUANG Zi had a strong influence on Chinese philosophy. As a nature, the Qi philosophy of ZHUANG Zi has such a significance that no other one can substitute for it during the process of producing the Chinese culture of Qi.
