Abstract
The technology of cubicle type circuit breaker has become more and more application. The circuit breaker of generator outlet in Anhui Xianggongmiao hydropower station is this kind of circuit breaker. The paper introduced the course of case study, handling and the judgment after breakdown fault of the vacuum vessel for high voltage circuit breaker of No. 2 generator in the hydropower station. It is pointed out that because of concealing characteristics of cubicle type high voltage circuit breaker, it is difficult to analyze and check after occurring breakdown fault of vacuum vessel, thus at present technical level, this kind of circuit breaker is unfit for to be used in outlet of generator.
