Land Reclamation and Ecological Rehabilitation

On the basis of prveious study and connotation of land reclamation and ecological rehabilitation in area of mining, this paper has made a discussion on the relation between land reclamation and ecological rehabilitation along with discussing about several problems on land reclamation and ecological rehabilitation. The paper presents: land reclamation not only is a land problem, but also an environment problem; the essence of land reclamation is to restore land resources, and to rehabilitate ecological balance as well, the core and goal of land reclamation is ecological rehabilitation, land reclamation and ecological rehabilitation is ecosystem engineering for land and environment to be comprehensibly controlled, restoration ecology is theoretical basis of land reclamation and ecological rehabilitation;the basic work of land reclamation and ecological rehabilitation is physiognomy and soil reconstruction, the key of land reclamation and ecological rehabilitation is vegetation reclamation.
