Abstract

Obsessive-compulsive disorder(OCD) is classified as a neurotic disease which is difficult to treat.However,the OCD therapy has been improved significantly in recent 30 years.Many studies have found that cognitive behavioral therapy(CBT),clomipramine and selective-serotonin reuptake inhibitors(SSRIs) are effective in the treatment of OCD.This review describes the rationale and method of CBT for OCD patients in detail.
