Abstract
In order to solve the limitation of effective signal transmission distance in CAN bus, an elevator remote monitoring system based on embedded ARM processor and GPRS wireless communication technology is designed in this paper. The elevator terminal is composed of LPC2148 and EM310. The elevator working status and the fault information are transmitted to the monitoring center via GPRS network. Then the remote monitoring and control system of the elevators is implemented by the software in monitoring center. Thus the problem of signal transmission distance was solved.
