Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical effect of raceanisodamine eye drops treatments for juvenile myopia. Methods 68 cases with juvenile myopia from February 2011 to February 2012 were selected as research subjects. All the subjects received raceanisodamine eye drops treatment.Visual acuity, axial length, intraocular pressure and diopter before and 4 months after treatments were compared. Results 4 cases(5.9%) were cured,26 cases(38.2%) improved,13(19.1%) unchanged and 25(36.8%) decreased among 68 patients. There was no significant difference in diopter before and after treatment[(-2.13±1.01)D vs(-2.17±1.03)D,P0.05];Axial length were(23.49±1.52)mm and(23.62±1.80)mm before and after treatment(P0.05);Compared with pre-treatment,the intraocular pressure after treatment had no greatly change[(13.48±2.19) mmHg vs(13.39±2.10) mmHg,P0.05].Conclusion Raceanisodamine eye drops is effective in slowing and controlling the progression of juvenile myopia with good safety.
