Abstract
The mineralogical features and chemical composition of a uranium ore, leaching middle residue and leaching tailings have been studied. The results show that uranium mineral in the ore is mainly pitchblende, and uranium-bearing minerals are thorium mineral, thorite, calcite, chlorite and phosphorite;uranium has a close relation with phosphorite;uranium exists in ore in the forms of uranium mineral, isomorphism and absorption;acid-consumed minerals are mainly calcite, chlorite and phosphorite;from ore to leaching middle residue to leaching tailings, mass fractions of uranium mineral and uranium decrease successively;fine-grained ore has a higher uranium leaching rate than coarse-grained ore.
