Abstract

The biooxidation tests of some sulphide minerals in the refractory gold ore under the same conditions are conducted,It is found that microscopic characteristics of sulphide minerals and the time of crystal breaking are very different Pyrite is the most difficult mineral of biooxidation among them The bio-oxidation of pyrite is divided into three stages in the whole process In the process the microscopic characteristics of pyrites would change Chalcopyrite is more difficult bio-oxidized mineral Sphalerite is easy bio-oxidized, the following minerals are galena,tetrahedrite and stibnite
