Abstract
A mulitiple-factor 3×3 experiment was conducted to study the effects of tea polyphenols(TP) and vitamin C(Vc)on the antioxidant function and the growth performance of broilers. In order to reveal the effects, the following items were measured: the activities of SOD and GSH-Px,MDA contents,as well as T-AOC in Serum and the growth rate, feed conversion rate.Hence,270 Avin broilers were randomly divided into 9 groups, each containing 3 replicates(10 birds per replicate). The experimental results showed that, there was significant influence on serum SOD and GSH-Px activity,T-AOC,MDA contents when different dietary TP and Vc levels added in the basal diet. The best addition level of TP was found at 60 mg·kg-1and that of Vc was 100 mg·kg-1 and was the most remarkable compared with the control treatment(p0.01).There was not remarkable effect on production performance of broilers(p0.05).
