Valaciclovir Combined with 5-Fluorouracilum in Treatment of Condyloma Acuminatum

Objective To explore the effect of valaciclovir combined with 5-fluorouracilum(5-Fu)in the treatment of condyloma acuminatum. Methods We divided 127 cases of recurrent condyloma acuminatum into two groups:experimental group(67 cases)and control group (60 cases). The experimental group was given oral valaciclovir plus 5-Fu ointment for external use. The control group received intramuscular interferon treatment. The recurrent condyloma shedding within two weeks was observed. Results The experimental group was superior to the control group in the recurrent condyloma shedding. Conclusion Valaciclovir plus 5-Fu ointment has a good therapy effect on recurrent condyloma acuminatum.
