Abstract
With the development of information technology, electronic bill of lading is becoming a hot subject in the field of electronic commerce. In theory, the adoption of electronic bill of lading can greatly facilitate the trade process, and benefit every trade participant. However, the realization process of the electronic bill of lading has met lots of difficulties in the past time, and has never been widely expanded and even less progress to its breakthrough. This paper makes a deep analysis on the concept of electronic bill of lading, and has chosen a few typical international pilot projects for research purposes to sum up the essential problems of the electronization of bill of lading, and simultaneously put up some suggestions related to it.
