Method of designing city′s public safety database

Abstract

The article describes the development of GIS spatial data model,introduces the characteristics and advantages of Geodatabase data model,enumerates three common methods for building Geodatabase,discusses how to build city′s public safety database with case tools,then provides one kind of method and approach.The study proved that object-oriented method can be properly applied to designing spatial database using this method,greatly reduced the time and improved the efficiency of building a database,and make city′s public safety information system more better serve to society.
