Abstract

The anoxic/aerobic two-stage biological aerated filter (BAF) process was used to treat the domestic sewage from a power plant. The removal efficiencies of COD,BOD5,ammonia nitrogen, total nitrogen, total phosphorus and plant oil can reach 86.6%,89.23%,87.7%,83.8%,48.6%,and 85.71% respectively.Based on these results,it is concluded that the process has reliable operation and stable treatment efficiency.
