Abstract

he research and practice for the Garden City Theory in Guangzhou began in early 1920 and was connected with the poliy-maker of the city, therefore the total plan and basic thinking about the development were all reflected inside and became the important component of the city ideas before the War to Resist Japan. Taking case study on the history, this paper researched the resource and development of Garden City Theory in Guangzhou.
