Abstract
Soil texture, organic matter, available phosphorus, available potassium, available nitrogen,pH value, bulk density and calcium carbonate of apple soil were analyzed, and they were compared with the materials collected from the second nation-wide soil survey in Luochuan tableland,Shaanxi province. The results show that obvious changes of soil fertility quality take place with the increase of cultivation period when the cultivated land transmitted to apple soil. The contents of organic matter and available phosphorus increase, whereas, the available potassium and available nitrogen decrease. The soil quality of apple soil was evaluated with the Nemoro formula, the results indicate that soil fertility quality index is 1.13~1.39,and the soil fertility is medium.
