Changes of the expression of bcl-2,bax in the lungs of rabbits after myocardial ischemia reperfusion

Abstract

Objective To investigate the changes of the expression of bcl-2、bax in the lungs of rabbits ,and to find out injuries to the lungs by myocardial ischemia reperfusion . Methods The models of myocardial ischemia reperfusion (ischemia 30min,reperfusion 60min) were made,the concentration of SOD、MDA in the blood serum was detected,and the expressions of bcl-2 and bax in the lungs were observed by the immunohistochemical SABC method after the reperfusion. Results After myocardial ischemia reperfusion ,the concentration of SOD decreased,while the concentration of MDA increased.The positive cells of bcl-2 and bax were observed in vascular endothelial cells and alveolar epithelium cells of the lungs.Both of the two expessions were not obvious under normal conditions but began to increase dramatically after 60min of reperfusion. There was no significant difference between the two groups in the value of optical density(OD),howerer,the OD value of bax of ischemia reperfusion group was higher than that of sham group (P0.05). Conclusion The changes of the expression of positive cells of bcl-2 and bax may play an important role in apotosis and cause lung injury after myocardial ischemia reperfusion .
