Abstract

For the idealist school of philosophical thought in the Song and Ming dynasties,Confucius and Hui's cheerfulness is an issue of great significance and many Neo-Confucianists interpreted its importance.As a famous Neo-Confucianist of the early Ming dynasty,CAO Duan renewed the explanation on the basis of Pre-Confucian.
