Abstract

Objective—To obtain the best extraction process of aloe flavonoids with microwave method through screening the conditions of microwave extraction for aloeflavonoids. Methods—Based on the orthogonal test, spectroscopy was used to analyze the extracts, and an optimized model was created to extract aloe flavonoids with the assistance of microwave radiation. Results—Through comparing the extraction efficiency of three different extraction method, the extraction rate of flavonoids reached 2.340% under the optimum conditions of the microwave extraction method(i.e.560 W of microwave power,80% of ethanol concentration,solid-ethanol ratio of 1to 300(g ∶ mL),60 sof microwave heating time. Conclusion—The efficiency of microwave extraction is superior to that of ethanol reflux extraction and ultrasonic extraction. The microwave extraction boasts simple operation, time saving and high efficiency as well as cost reduction,so it can be used in the extraction of natural medicinal ingredients.
