Abstract

The ultimate goal of college English teaching is to cultivate students' ability of cross-cultural communication and appropriate cultural input plays an important role in the teaching of college English.This article expounds the necessity and the principle of cultural input and the content of cultural input as well so as to promote students' competence of cross-cultural communication.
