Abstract
In the view of Marx, the firm is the mechanism which is made by production and in which capital produces. Marx's research into the internal structure of the firm not only revealed the opposite and incompatible side of the relations between labor and capital, but also accepted its dependent and cooperative side. While there are great differences between the paradigm of Marxist economics and that of Western economics, it couldn't impede our pursuit of both common foundation and consilience of the cognition of firms. Marx's thought of firms still has vigor. It is of significant values for the construction of the firms with Chinese Charateristics, especially for the reform of state-owned firms.
