Exploration of purchasing in hospitals

Objective: To strengthen the whole process of purchasing in hospitals and explore purchasing management methods. Methods: We introduced the material purchasing reform for the hospital's construction and development of purchasing management pattern. Using the JIT purchasing mode, we conducted the hospital united centralized purchasing for clinical materials of great demand and small amount such as computer network parts, consumables ,medical form printing, office household goods etc. Results: The scientific reasonable material purchasing management can give medical institutions bring certain economic benefits and social benefit. It puts an end to the phenomenon of different prices for the same goods, unknown big amount consumption to ensure the normal operation of medical work, save the money for the hospital. Conclusion: With the deepening reform of health system, material procurement has becomeone of the most important parts in the hospital. Meanwhile, the purchasing management is facing great changes. We should change our purchasing mode to adapt to the new situation.
