Abstract

The accuracy of the rotor speed estimation in speed sensorless vector control system of induction motor under load is sensitive to parameter errors of the internal machine model. To eliminate the speed estimation error, the machine parameters are adapted on-line,based on a mutual model reference adaptive system(MRAS).A rotor flux oriented control scheme is implemented in a digital signal processor system to demonstrate the robustness of the speed estimation to parameter variations.Experimental results prove that the control system is effective with good accuracy of speed estimation.
