Network Solution of Small Enterprise Based on Software RAID of iSCSI

As the network solution of SCSI,iSCSI usually makes up a disk organization with several disks in different ways using hardware RAID cards and provides memory solution with data redundancy.It is generally applied in information systems of large-scale company and institutions of higher learning at present,but the cost is relatively high.The software RAID used by iSCSI in this article connects several independent computer with LAN and adequately makes use of network and disk resources.It makes up a distributive storage of GB level to realize low-cost distributive memory solution.It carries on a capability testing on this system and analyzes the feasibility of applying this scheme to small enterprise.The analysis indicates that the scheme is absolutely capable of applying in small enterprise,at the same time,it may extends to primary schools,high schools and domestic users.
