Abstract
The extraction mechanisms of HNO_3 and U (Ⅵ) with TBSA in 50% kerosene-50% 1, 2, 4-trimethylbenzene from nitric acid medium have been studied. The composition of extracted species is UO_2(NO_3)_2·TBSA, and the structure of the extracted complex was analyzed by IR spectrometry. At 1.0mol/L HNO_3, the main extraction adduct of HNO_3 and TBSA is HNO_3·TBSA. TBSA·HNO_3, (TBSA)_2·HNO_3 and TBSA·(HNO_3)_2 are formed at high acidity (3.0mol/L HNO_3). The apparent equilibrium constants of extraction reactions and values of thermodynamic function have been calculated.
