Dynamic Routing Mechanism of GMPLS

Abstract

GMPLS developed from MPLS is the inevitable result of MPLS to extend to the optical network.The routing technology is a key of GMPLS.The main technologies of GMPLS relative with routing is introduced based on the review of MPLS technology.The existing routing selection strategies in GMPLS are discussed.The structures of an integrated-network and its control plane are elaborated based on the peer network model supported by GMPLS.A dynamic routing mechanism guaranteed with QoS in networks based on GMPLS is proposed.
