Study on Multi-efficiency-cropping Modes for Dryland Areas in East Mountain in Central Part of Shanxi Province

Through experiment and demonstration,several kinds of multi-efficiency-cropping modes adapted to dry land areas of central part in Shansi province were explored,including the grain crops intercropping with cash crops,plastic mulching for millet and soybean,maize or fruit corn intercropping with vegetables,the economic crops intercropping with economic crops,cabbage intercropping with kohlrabi,plastic mulching tomatoes intercropping with radish;the economic crops intercropping with forage crops,forage crops intercropping with soybean,forage crops intercropping with potatoes,forage crops intercropping with summer squash.This paper introduced mainly planting patterns,benefits situation and key cultivation technology.Some modes showed significantly economic benefit and obvious superiority in comparison with the farmers' practice,and had high application value.
