Abstract

Objective To study the coumarins of Angelica dahurica var.formosana.Methods Fresh roots and rhizomes of A.dahurica var.formosana were extracted with ethanol at room temperature.The following compounds(Ⅰ-Ⅷ) were obtained by repeated column chromatography and prepared HPLC.Their structures were elucidated on the basis of chemical evidence and spectral analyses.Results Five coumarin glucosides and three coumarins were isolated from A.dahurica var.formosana: alloisoimperatorin(Ⅰ),oxypeucedanin(Ⅱ),bergapten(Ⅲ),marmesin 4′-O-β-D-apiofuranosyl-(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranoside(Ⅳ),β-D-glucosyl-6′-(β-D-apiosyl) columbianetin(Ⅴ),columbianin(Ⅵ),8-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl xanthotoxol(Ⅶ),tert-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(R)-heraclenol(Ⅷ).Conclusion Compounds Ⅳ-Ⅵ are isolated from the plants of Angelica L.for the first time,while compounds Ⅶ and Ⅷ are isolated from this plant for the first time.
