Study on the Impacts of Accessibility of Tourist Cities along the Wuhan-Guangzhou High Speed Railway in Hunan Province

High-speed railway is an important part of tourism traffic system.In this paper,from the angle of accessibility,at comparing three indicators of change,that is weighted average travel times,tourism development potential and daily accessibility,along the Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway operations in Hunan Province,before and after the operation of the construction.From the results of this study,we find that the overall accessibility level is improving,by the same time,it also show some regional differences,such as the growth rate of Chenzhou and Hengyang city is particularly significant than others.Therefore,under the high-speed railway age,each city needs to make an appropriate tourism development strategy according to the characteristics of its own.
