Brief Discussion on the Situation,Causes and Countermeasures of the Income Gap in China

With China's economic growth,there is a tendency of income inequality expansion.Income inequality leads naturally to polarization of the rich and the poor,which inevitably becomes an element of social instability.How to regulate distribution of income and narrow the income gap of residents has become an urgent problem.This paper analyzes the present situation of income gap,concluding the four causes of income gap: the market factor,the non-market factor, the income gap and structural factor of economic growth and redistribution factor,and further puts forward the corresponding countermeasures in hopes that they can be of help to the solution of the problem.
