Abstract

Flotation study was carried out on a low grade leadzinc ore from Xinjiang. The content of lead and zinc are 0.16% and 2.23%,with oxidation rate of 18.86% and 18.87% respectively.A process of sulfide minerals flotation at first stage, and then flotation of oxide minerals was selected according to the ore properties and using common regents.A qualified lead concentrate containing 51.72% Pb with a recovery of 79.03% and a zinc concentrate containing 46.85% Zn with a recovery of 93.03% could be obtained.
