Clinical observation of Yupingfeng granule in the adjuvant treatment of persistent allergic rhinitis

Objective To observe the clinical effect of Yupingfeng granule as adjuvant treatment for persistent allergic rhinitis.Methods A total of 80 patients with persistent allergic rhinitis were randomly divided into control group and treatment group,each group with 40 cases.Patients in control group were treated with ebastine and fluticasone propionate nasal spray,and patients in treatment group were treated with Yupingfeng granule on the basis of treatment in control group.The therapeutic course was two weeks in each group,and recrudescence was observed 8 weeks after drug withdrawal.Results The total effective rate in the control group and treatment group were respectively 67.5% and 87.5%,there was a significant difference between two groups(P 0.05).The recrudescence rate in the control group and treatment group were respectively 64.7% and 34.6%,there was a significant difference between two groups(P 0.05).Conclusion Yupingfeng granule in adjuvant treatment of persistent allergic rhinitis can significantly improve treatment and reduce recrudescence rate.
