Exposition about Du Fu's Poetry of Horses

As the greatest realistic poet in the history of our country,Du Fu endows his poetry with rich social content,distinct characteristics of the time and a strong political inclination.In all his works,the poems chanting horses have distinct characteristics and are always well commendable.In his poems,Du Fu has broken through his predecessors' tradition of detailed description of the morphology,but expresses his own aspirations and feelings with the metaphor of horses.So Du Fu's works are rich in metaphors and symbolic significance which reach to a realm both internal and external.This paper attempts to describe the different types of horses,analyze their images and discuss the realm of art about objects in Du Fu's poetry.
