Abstract

With the rapid development of CAD/CAM workstation there arise a Problem of choosing your own system from a large varieties of workstation. Following five issues are discussed in this Paper: (1) Present demands of CAD/CAM applications, (2) APPlication and development environment of workstation, (3) Features of RISC comPuter/workstation, (4) Analysis of current computer/workstation market, (5)Basic approach in decision making of CAD/CAM workstation system.
